2. Description of Service

Scan My HVAC provides HVAC equipment identification services using AI-powered image analysis. Users can upload photos of air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and other HVAC equipment to receive identification information and detailed reports.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when using our Service
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not upload inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems
  • Not use automated systems to access the Service without permission

4. Image Uploads

By uploading images to our Service, you:

  • Confirm you have the right to upload and share the images
  • Grant us permission to process the images for identification purposes
  • Understand that images may be temporarily stored to provide our services

5. Payments and Refunds

Full reports are available for $0.99 per scan. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Due to the digital nature of our reports, all sales are final. However, if you experience technical issues preventing access to your report, please contact us at hello@scanmyhvac.com.

6. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate HVAC equipment identification, our Service:

  • Uses AI technology which may occasionally produce errors
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions
  • Provides information for reference purposes only
  • Does not replace professional HVAC inspection or advice

We recommend verifying important information with manufacturer documentation or a qualified HVAC professional.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Service are owned by ScanMyHVAC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanMyHVAC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScanMyHVAC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
